January 28, 2024 Cuban Movement Intensive

Moving through a variety of dance styles that originated from Cuba such as Rumba, Son, Timba, Timbaton and more, MetaMovements’ own Anara Frank & Eli Pabon team up to teach techniques to incorporate any style of dance to your Salsa/Casino styling!

February 4, 2024 Cuban Modern Intensive

Cuban Modern Technique is a series of dance exercises and combinations created in the 1960s in Havana, Cuba. It has a Modern Dance structure, while the music and movements reflect Cuba's cultural traditions, including Orishas, Rumba, Flamenco, and more. This technique, taught through choreography, offers comprehensive training to improve posture and presentation, enhance fluid and organic movement, and build dynamic strength and flexibility so that you become a more powerful dancer!

For both intensives:

No partners required. No experience necessary. All levels are welcome and will be split up as needed. Both intensives will be followed by a brief info session at 2:30PM regarding our upcoming MetaMovements International Choreo Projects from Cuba and the Dominican Republic!

12:30PM - 2:30PM Intensive

2:30PM - 3PM  brief info session regarding upcoming MetaMovements International Choreo Projects from Cuba and the Dominican Republic!

Program cost:

$35 pre-register per intensive

$45 drop in at door per intensive

$60 pre-register for both intensives
