Community Arts Center (Central Square, Cambridge, MA)
How to find it
On Windsor St, you'll see #119, and the sign for the Health Clinic. Use the driveway on the left of the building and go into the parking lot. The entrance to the Windsor St Center is the last door on the left on the side of the building that is facing the parking lot. Then come up the stairs, and the first door on the left is the Gymnasium. If you continue straight down the hallway the Arts Center is on left. We use the Arts Center for smaller classes and the Gymnasium for larger classes and events.
Parking
We can park in the lot when it is not needed by the patients at the Health Center. Typically this is after 6:45 pm on weekdays, and anytime on weekends, however there are occasions when the Health Center needs their spots. I usually find meter parking just 1-2 minutes away on Windsor St, Main St or Osborn St (no charge after 6pm or on Sundays).There are also multiple "loading zone" spots that open at 6pm nearby. Lastly, on Sundays anyone can park in the spaces that usually require a resident permit.
Public Transportation
It is an easy walk from either Central or Kendall Square T stops, and you can get exact walking directions using the map link above. The #1 bus (Dudley to Harvard Squares) is also easy. Ask the driver to let you off near Windsor St on Mass Ave, and you can walk right down.
